Can Interhost ‘sort out’ the existing network? back to top
Yes. Server consolidation is an area where Interhost have excelled. Companies that have evolved and bolted on a number of systems can often be running inefficiently. Interhost can address these issues by surveying the current systems and providing an alternative progressive solution, often taking into consideration budgets and investment periods

Are we too small for Interhost? back to top
We support networks that range in size from 2 users to multi site WANs with 100s of users. If a network and the data on it is critical to your business, it has to be maintained professionally.

Are we too big for Interhost? back to top
The larger a company has grown, the more its financial directors will understand the need for efficiency and professionalism. Interhost deliver solutions to optimise investment. The 2011 Gartner report suggests that hosted desktop returns financial benefit for any firm up to 500 users.

As leaders in the field of IT we are often more advanced in certain fields of technology than any one in-house IT engineer can be expected to be. Permanent IT staff may fall ill, take holidays, in fact there are a host of reasons why the decision to outsource may be taken. Very often Interhost will perform more complex requirements for an IT team, or help to instruct that team in a particular project.

Can we trial Interhost? back to top
There is no obligation to take out any support contract with Interhost; it is simply a more economical option if a long term support strategy is being adopted. Projects are undertaken at standard daily rates should a company wish to ‘test’ the Interhost working practice, and contract periods and release clauses are extremely flexible.

Why would we use Interhost? back to top
Every business would like to be as profitable as it can be. In order to do this it has to address various areas of business. In some cases business with no IT knowledge aren’t in a position to make IT decisions as they are simply not informed enough about IT. Interhost provide solutions that will make a business perform to its best potential in the area of IT.

At Interhost our attention to detail, operational excellence and customer intimacy allow us to stand out from the IT crowd. Our methods involve solution rather than blame. We deliver reliability with effectiveness and accountability, allowing your business to prosper and both of us to forge a long term relationship.

Will we need to upgrade everything? back to top
Very often the profitability of systems relates to its efficiency. If a system is producing results well, and will continue to do so securely and cost effectively, there is no need to change it. Change is only made when it is the right thing to do. Interhost often employ a gradual upgrade process which allows goals to be met over a defined period accommodating budget and real time office scenarios.

What does the support contract cover? back to top
Some clients may choose to take out an additional support contract to cover work at the customer site as opposed to the hosted systems.

Do you cover all operating systems and applications? back to top
As Microsoft Certified Partners we deal predominantly with Microsoft based systems. These are often a platform on which bespoke applications are run. Interhost are happy to support bespoke applications, although normally all 3rd party products will have their own support systems in place and therefore Interhost would be involved more in a liaison role to accelerate the process of fixing any problems

Interhost are also proven specialists in the implementation of a thin client environment. This is a well-established means of driving-down total cost of ownership (TCO) and increasing return on investment (ROI). Deploying all of a company’s desktop applications on a centrally located server farm can lead to visible cost savings.

Do you visit sites regularly? back to top
Using today’s numerous possibilities for connectivity Interhost’s engineers are able to create remote links to our customers’ sites. We can take control of servers and other critical network components and therefore respond to network problems immediately. If we cannot resolve a problem remotely we will attend onsite.
